We work extremely closely with the companies that we invest in to provide intensive mentorship and guidance for success. In order to properly manage our investments, it requires constant communication, teams of experts, education of cutting-edge innovations, global industry research, business development, network growth, and more. Not only are we always evaluating what is the next best opportunity to invest in, but we are also committed to helping our portfolio continue on their growth trajectory from Accelerator through Acquisition. It is important to ensure that each company is consistently provided with the tools they need to navigate their markets.
Our investments are split into two categories: 1) Accelerator Investments and 2) Later-Stage Investments.
Our Accelerator investments include $100K in investment, over $1 MM in perks and benefits, mentorship from a knowledgeable pool of seasoned mentors, office space and a 12-week program to help scale their business. For each Accelerator, we invest in ~6 companies and provide each business a lead mentor that acts as a Co-CEO. These lead mentors are experienced entrepreneurs and executives that advise the businesses during the program to ensure that they are responsibly growing as fast as possible. Each company also receives access to a large pool of subject matter expert mentors that have specific expertise in areas such as pricing strategy, talent acquisition, management, sales channels, etc. We provide weekly sessions around goal setting, accountability, strategy, finance, product, marketing, sales, operations, legal, accounting and more. Each business receives one-on-one guidance, as well as group sessions where all businesses can help each other based on their own experiences. We also provide a global database of connections and resources to help our investments. This includes in-person meetings with angel investors and venture capitalists that invest at a later-stage, potential customers, partners, acquirers, and more.
Most of our later-stage investments are provided into companies that have gone through our Accelerator. This is a great way for us to reinvest and support companies that we have been working with for years. These investments are provided during larger financing rounds. We will lead investments and syndicate with other investors in order to help build out a strong investment pool of valuable partners. We are constantly developing our network of investors, partners, potential customers, and acquirers around the world and we connect our portfolio companies with the necessary parties when the time is appropriate. Additionally, we help our companies negotiate their future investments and deals to ensure that they are positioning themselves for success.

To-date, we have invested in 98 companies in the technology, consumer products, and energy tech verticals. Of those 98 investments, ~85 percent are still operating and our portfolio has raised over $300 MM in financing. As our portfolio grows, it requires us to stay closely in touch with a large amount of companies. We have an experienced team that maintains ongoing contact with all of our companies to ensure that we are guiding them and providing the necessary connections throughout their growth. Due to our in-depth involvement with our portfolio, our companies always keep us informed of what is going on with their business. In fact, we have companies that will go on to raise series a financing round and beyond and still come back to us for advice regularly because we invested and guided them in their earliest stages of growth. They trust us and consider our feedback valuable and this is a major benefit that has proved to be extremely beneficial for our investments.
